his shot was all about translating a vital survival moment into a visual sweep of motion. I focused on a giraffe approaching the watering hole under the cover of night, driven by thirst. Knowing how quickly they drop and lift their heads to drink, I deliberately set a one-second slow shutter speed. As the giraffe finished drinking and quickly thrust its long neck upright, I executed a subtle Intentional Camera Movement (ICM). This fusion of the animal\'s natural movement and the ICM is what created that incredible, ethereal arc—a testament to the power of motion as the giraffe rapidly went from bending to drink to regaining its towering, upright posture.

Meet the fascinating Poltys mouhoti, a master of disguise from the orb-weaver family. With its elongated abdomen and reddish leaf-like marking, it blends seamlessly with dried leaves and twigs, making it almost invisible during the day. This nocturnal spider emerges at night to spin its web, while spending daylight hours perfectly camouflaged against nature. Its unique body shape, complete with a whip-like projection, is a brilliant evolutionary adaptation for survival. Rarely seen and even more rarely photographed in detail, this spider is a true wonder of the forest.

The ancient granite structure, with its intricate carvings, massive courtyard, and strong geometric lines, creates a powerful sense of scale and symmetry, turning this UNESCO World Heritage shrine into both a spiritual and architectural focal point in the frame.

– В рейтинге лучших фотографий учитывается только одна — самая сильная — работа от каждого автора. Даже если у фотографа опубликовано несколько работ, в расчёте позиции используется только одна, с наивысшим рейтингом. Поэтому порядок фотографий в списке может не совпадать с итоговым положением автора в рейтинге.
– The rating of photographers by countries and cities is based on the three best photos of the author and their relative position in each separate nomination. Rating in the nomination "Mobile Photography" is taken into account to a lesser extent for rating formation. The list by country and city shows one photo of the author with the best rating.
– Only those photos have been published in the list that passed the second stage of voting.
– Only one strongest photo from each author is counted in the Best Photos ranking. Even if a photographer has several published works, only the highest-rated one is used to calculate their ranking position. As a result, the order of photos in the list may not match the author's final ranking position.
