Contortionist captures the raw power and grace of an Andalusian stallion mid-leap in striking black and white. His body twists in an almost unnatural way, muscles sharply defined, showing both strength and agility. The wild mane and tail seem to dance around him, drawing in more movement and energy. Edited on a black background isolates the stallion, drawing all attention to the tension and power he displays.
The monochrome tones help to accentuate the contrast between light and shadow, highlighting the details of his form and turning a moment of action into something timeless - just like horses in art are. This image is about more than just a horse in motion... it\'s a study in grace, strength, and the beauty of the natural world caught in a fleeting, overly intense moment.

Peregrine Falcon chasing Brown Pelican away from its nest to protect its chicks (that was located on the 300 foot cliffs overlooking the pounding surf). Torrey Pines, CA USA. Sony a1, Sony 600mm GM, crop for composition, Topaz Denoise, Photoshop2025. EXIF: 1/4000s, f/5.6, ISO 1250.
A rare and intimate encounter with a dugong, captured while freediving off the coast of Egypt. With only an estimated 30 individuals remaining in the Red Sea, dugongs face immense threats from habitat loss, pollution, and unsustainable tourism. As a keystone species, they are vital to the health of seagrass meadows, which serve as carbon sinks and critical marine habitats, underscoring the urgent need for strengthened conservation efforts.
When there are many eagles in the sky there is always the chance for aerial confrontation. The eagles do not injure each other but they do affect defensive postures in midair. I was lying on the ramp of a boat at water level panning the flight of the eagles as they approached hoping for a quick and easy snack. The haunting sound of their cries filled the air. Each eagle rotated in space and extended talons before grabbing over the water but these two birds came very close and the lower bird assumed a posture of submission.
Against the golden hues of a vibrant sunset, a great blue heron brings a stick to its mate as they work together to build their nest. The intricate silhouettes of the herons and their structure stand in harmony with the fading light, capturing a tender moment of cooperation and devotion. This image celebrates the beauty of nature’s rhythms, the enduring partnerships of wildlife, and the splendor of creation against the backdrop of a glowing evening sky.
"Rising from the earth, these towers stand as monuments to human vision and ambition. Each line, each curve, and each reflection tells a story of artistry and innovation. In their stillness, they breathe—whispering tales of the past while reaching fearlessly for the future. Through these photographs, architecture becomes more than structure; it transforms into poetry, where steel meets sky, and light dances upon glass, shaping the soul of the city."
A little girl and her calf, tongues out and full of mischief, share a playful moment on the farm. Laughter, friendship, and simple joys make this barnyard bond truly special.
Her look is an ode to the iconic Twiggy—an embodiment of fashion, playfulness, and the bold spirit of the '60s. But in this excess of things, fashion loses its lightness, turning into a labyrinth of choices. Vintage and trends intertwine, blurring the line between style and randomness. She is not just a shopper; she becomes a part of fashion art itself
The image shows a dark corridor illuminated by white LED light strips arranged in receding rectangular frames, creating a long pathway effect. The lights are evenly spaced on the walls and ceiling, leading to a bright light source at the far end, creating a focal point in the composition. The scene has a futuristic, symmetrical aesthetic with strong depth and contrast. The gap on the far end right of the image interrupting the repetitive pattern added an imperfection.
The “Yosemite Firefall” is a natural phenomenon that occurs in Yosemite National Park, California, USA when the setting sun hits Horsetail Fall at the right angle, creating an orange glow that resembles a lava flow. The firefall usually occurs in mid- to late February, when certain weather conditions are met. The waterfall begins to light up few minutes before sunset when the sun is at the right angle and the waterfall is flowing.
I researched about Yosemite Firefall and went on a solo trip in February 2024 when weather predictions are ideal for Firefall. I reached 4 hours before the sunset and set my camera with hundreds of photographers crowded in a small picnic area to capture this rare phenomenon. I was lucky enough to capture this shot on the first try itself as small changes in weather condition is enough to ruin in the firefall effect.

New York\'s long history is embodied on this street. The historical buildings in the near distance form a sharp contrast with the skyscrapers in the distance.
I was in the safari jeep, spending the entire day searching for leopards to photograph. Suddenly, my tracker yelled, “Stop! Look there!”. It was an epic moment for me, the leopard was perched on a tree, peeking out and gazing at us. It was perfectly framed by the branches, and through the opening.

An amazing and wild day or watching them engage on and off, while waiting for the ice to form on Hudson Bay.
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi is a breathtaking masterpiece of Islamic architecture. Its gleaming white marble, intricate mosaics, and colossal chandeliers create a serene and awe-inspiring atmosphere. A true testament to artistry and devotion.
I captured this image of a stunning zebra in the Maasai Mara, Kenya. The smoke from controlled fires gave rise to surreal and breathtaking sunsets, casting a golden glow over the landscape.
Waking up early in the morning to catch the sunrise at the wonderful Milford Sound in New Zealand, I was expecting a cloudy sky but was pleasantly surprised by clear skies. The golden glow of the sunrise painted the dramatic peaks in yellow, creating a stunning reflection in the water. This serene and beautiful moment made the early wake-up call completely worth it, capturing the essence of nature\'s beauty at its finest.
Shrimp boat broke down at sea and washed up on Port Aransas Beach. The boat's name is Second Chance. It has been a real struggle for them to break free of the beach and return to the sea.
The thunderstorm approaches, cleaving the heavens with wrath.
The sky over Guangzhou, China, is suffocated under layers of lead-gray storm clouds, their boiling masses surging like tidal waves toward the horizon’s edge. A jagged lightning bolt splits the cloud cover, its silver-white glare ripping through the darkened veil to illuminate the city, as though a divine blade cleaves the mortal realm. In the distance, thunder rumbles like war drums, heavy with the suffocating tension of an impending deluge.
While exploring the beautiful Moulton Barn with the Grand Tetons in the backdrop, I spotted this ground squirrel relaxing in the shade and just munching away some grass. It was such a peaceful encounter. I quickly lined up my phone camera, getting as low as possible to the ground to not only capture the squirrel but also the beautiful landscape behind.
Обстановка минималистичная, выполненная в черно-белой гамме. На столе стоит простая ваза с сухими ветками, что добавляет композиции лаконичности и утонченности. Общая атмосфера передает чувство грусти, усталости или задумчивости.
During an early morning hike in Arches National Park, I was captivated by the way the rising sun illuminated the landscape, casting warm golden hues over the red rock formations. As I walked, I came across a small pool of water—an unexpected and fleeting mirror in the heart of the desert.
What made this scene even more striking was the presence of a solitary tree, standing in contrast to the vast, open landscape. Its shape and texture added a sense of resilience, a quiet defiance against the surrounding elements. The reflection in the water created a perfect symmetry, blending the organic and the untamed into one surreal moment. In this image, light, water, and nature come together to remind us that beauty often lies in the contrasts—strength in fragility, stillness in movement, and softness in the rugged.
"Mind Over Matter" is a fine art photography series capturing a young boy in meditation, focusing intensely as he attempts to levitate rocks. This project blends childhood imagination with surrealism, exploring the power of belief, mindfulness, and the potential of the mind. Through serene, minimalist settings, the images invite viewers to experience a moment of tranquility and wonder, where the impossible feels within reach.
We have become accustomed to seeing ourselves as different from who we really are and this is a disadvantage for our people who have such great historical value and such an important ancestral cultural heritage. Haiti and Africa are linked like two fingers of one hand despite the geographical provisions but, alas! We prefer to see ourselves through what does not look like us.
Imagine the wonders we could accomplish by learning to accept ourselves.
By denying this part of ourselves we also lose a large part of our identity. Let's learn to be Haitian! Let's honor our African roots and our ancestral heritage! As Jean-Price Mars says "We will only have a chance to be ourselves if we do not repudiate any part of the ancestral heritage"
With they're amazing white plumage and captivating feathers, the Great egret has always been one of my favorite birds to photograph. This last fall there were several at our local lake, and by laying in the mud, sometimes for uowards of an hour, I was able to get some beautiful shots such as this one.
This photo, captured from the bottom of the tunnel, creates the illusion of being beneath a well. The enchanting space above is adorned with trees and climbing plants. This unique perspective connects us to nature and offers a breathtaking view from this extraordinary angle.
I was taking some photos of my girl Lauren when her mom brought her something that she really liked. Wait until you see what it is in the following photos. I love the surprised look on his face.
She like a lot watermelon and my wife and I tried to do a photoshoot with watermelon. If you can see her face on one of the picture you realice that she is surprised.
This black and white portrait reimagines Medusa with a timeless elegance, highlighting the intricate textures of the serpents and the ethereal glow of her expression. The upward gaze evokes strength, mystery, and introspection, while the interplay of light and shadow adds depth and drama. Stripped of color, the image focuses on raw emotion and detail, offering a modern yet mythical interpretation of a classic figure
– The rating of photographers by countries and cities is based on the three best photos of the author and their relative position in each separate nomination. Rating in the nomination "Mobile Photography" is taken into account to a lesser extent for rating formation. The list by country and city shows one photo of the author with the best rating.
– Only those photos have been published in the list that passed the second stage of voting.
– Only one strongest photo from each author is counted in the Best Photos ranking. Even if a photographer has several published works, only the highest-rated one is used to calculate their ranking position. As a result, the order of photos in the list may not match the author's final ranking position.
