Maybe lightning strikes twice

A quiet sunset after a heavy storm in this charmful city (Dubai). everything is beautiful but repeatable, the scene lack for a special element turn it to a Unique scene. And then the storm start again and in a very special moment the heavy clouds clashed again to throw this lightining on the city, and luckly to crown it with perfection the lightining strikes the top of the highest and the most famous building on earth (Burj Khalifah). The scientific facts says that lightning never strikes twice in the same spot, and this making me wondering. IS THIS MOMENT REPEATABLE

HARMONY III - Silence and Dynamism

I create this photograph with a vision to express the harmony and dynamism of a cityscape. Generally, buildings and railroads are built independently. They are not considered their harmony. But seeing them from a particular viewpoint, railroads and buildings are well-balanced. They are in harmony with each other and they create dynamism in a cityscape. Not only expressing the harmony and dynamism of a cityscape, but I also want to present an importance of seeing a subject from a particular viewpoint. This is the vision and what I want to express in this photograph.

The gate

The #Azadi #Tower (#LibertyTower), formerly known as the #ShahyadTower, is a #monument located at Azadi Square, in Tehran. It is one of the symbols of Tehran, and marks the west entrance to the city. Built in 1971 in commemoration of the 2,500th anniversary of the #Persian#Empire, this "gateway into #Tehran" was named the Shahyad ("King's Memorial") in honor of the Shah, but was changed to Azadi ("Freedom") after the 1979 Revolution. eight thousand white marble blocks of stone were used in it's construction. The architect of this tower is "Hossein Amanat", he won a competition to design the building. He combined elements of the architecture of #Sassanid and #Achaemenid eras with the post-#IslamicIranian architecture. #hosseinamanat #Iran #gateway
