Birds in the City Photography Contest Guidelines

Birds in the City is a dynamic contrast between living nature and the urban rhythm. In photography, birds become a connecting link between humans and their environment, bringing everyday scenes and architectural landscapes to life. The contest is dedicated to moments where these two worlds intersect: here, not only the aesthetics of the frame matter, but also the nature of the interaction. We look for works where birds are organically woven into the fabric of city life, whether against the strict geometry of buildings or in the midst of human daily routines, creating unique stories about neighborhood, freedom, and observation.

Accepted:

Photographs where birds are a key element of the composition, harmoniously integrated into the urban context

Not Accepted:

Photographs taken in the wild, without visible signs of an urban environment or human presence
Images where the bird appears merely as an accidental, insignificant detail carrying no semantic weight

Vote

Viewers' votes are accepted during the submission period and for several days after completion.

Prize

Increase the limit to the load for the main contest 35AWARDS. Extensive coverage of the winner photos, as well as 10 of the best photos of the competition.

photo should be no copyright marks, add borders, etc.

Not accepted:

Similar images (similar combination of objects, cropping, different shooting angle, or change of photo tone)
Artificial color changes in graphic editors
Collages and composite images

* A photo that has won in other 35AWARDS contests cannot enter the best photos of this contest. Only one photo of the author can enter the number of the best photos of this competition.
** Images that do not match can be removed from the competition.
