This photo was taken in the summer of 2025 on a traditional Hungarian plain, depicting Tibor, a Hungarian Grey cattle herdsman, as part of a long-term project.
Once thriving in a water-rich valley nearly a thousand years ago, these trees fell victim to a changing climate as sand dunes encroached and the Tsauchab River shifted course. Without water, their roots withered and their trunks died, yet the harsh, arid conditions preserved them in remarkable detail. Today, these acacias — some over 900 years old — stand as a ghostly forest, a snapshot of a world that existed long before us.
This image was taken from a bird\'s-eye view and presents us with a unique, almost abstract sight. On the reddish-brown surface of the water, a flock of birds – presumably waterfowl – moves in a line, following one another in an orderly fashion. Their movement leaves a lighter, foamy streak that creates a dynamic contrast with the darker background. At the center of the composition, a solitary bird is slightly separated from the group, as if guiding them or simply watching its companions.
This conceptual portrait was inspired by the model’s middle name, Raven. The feathers, dramatic styling, and dark aesthetic embody the symbolism of the raven as a creature of mystery, transformation, and resilience. It represents the union of identity and myth, where personal story meets timeless archetype.

Поэтому порядок фотографий в списке может не совпадать с итоговым положением автора в рейтинге.
