Growing Up Programmed/
In a world designed for efficiency, childhood becomes structured, measured and corrected. This series portrays adolescents suspended between vulnerability and systematized expectations. Their gestures remain human, yet their environments suggest regulation — through medication, digital immersion, consumption and performance.
Before Chinese New Year, migrants nationwide journey home by train. This photo, taken late at a foggy station, shows a man hauling luggage, seeking his train. Like him, millions embark on this annual exodus. Each suitcase holds longing; each ticket bridges wanderers to roots. Through mist and winter chill, these treks embody cultural homecoming under hazy station lights.
The seaside, the beach, the ocean, the mountain, wide natural spaces, so many places which inspire dreams, imagination… and social networks communication.
Beautiful places, perfect set up and controlled postures: these are main preoccupations for lots of people, to gain approbations and « likes » from others. But everything should look like regular, spontaneous and natural situations. A subtle balance.
Everything is under control.
Note: this image is a part of a larger project named \"Under Control\".
An aerial view of Kalsoy in the Faroe Islands, rising steeply from the cold waters of the North Atlantic. From above, the island’s layered volcanic slopes form clean, horizontal lines that wrap around its pyramid-like shape before dropping into the sea.
Muted tones of grass and rock contrast with the deep blue water, while low clouds hang over the distant peaks, reinforcing the sense of isolation. The scene feels quiet and elemental. A raw landscape shaped by wind, ocean, and time.
During my trip to Morocco, what I loved about traveling in this country was finding \"ordinary life.\"
There were markets, merchants, and artisans—people there who work and live. Wandering through the maze of the medina, I was happy to let myself be drawn into their daily lives.
“In a puddle left by recent rains, the Camargue horses are doubled.
Black and white erases time and turns the moment into silence.
Between reality and reflection, whiteness becomes a trace, fragile and eternal at once.”
I was walking around Tokyo when I spotted this little family in the alley. I love the simplicity of this scene, which shows the simple life of a Japanese family on a Sunday morning.
– The rating of photographers by countries and cities is based on the three best photos of the author and their relative position in each separate nomination. Rating in the nomination "Mobile Photography" is taken into account to a lesser extent for rating formation. The list by country and city shows one photo of the author with the best rating.
– Only those photos have been published in the list that passed the second stage of voting.
– Only one strongest photo from each author is counted in the Best Photos ranking. Even if a photographer has several published works, only the highest-rated one is used to calculate their ranking position. As a result, the order of photos in the list may not match the author's final ranking position.
