"Wings Over Concrete" is a project about the birds flying above us in busy cities are like performers in a unique dance that often goes unnoticed. While we might not always pay attention, these birds play a vital role in maintaining the balance between urban life and nature. Watching them soar around tall buildings creates a beautiful blend of nature and the man-made world.
In the hustle and bustle of cities, birds bring color and life to the streets and buildings. Wings Over Concrete explores how birds adapt to city life and add beauty to urban environments. City streets aren’t just for people—they’ve become pathways for a variety of birds. Doves glide gracefully, gulls weave through crowds, and pigeons perform elegant aerial moves, all while adjusting to the challenges of living among concrete and steel. Their ability to thrive in cityscapes is truly remarkable.
Bull riding is the most dangerous sport in rodeo. During the ride, cowboys must follow the rules while facing a test of nerves with a tough bull. The rider depends on bullfighters to distract the bull until he is safely out of its range.
Cowboy culture is one of the core cultures in North America. This culture, which grew up in the frontier period, gradually grew into the representative and symbol of North American culture with the dream of gold rush and land enclosure in the United States, and also conveyed a spirit of freedom, independence, unfettered, treason and self-challenge. Although it is now the 21st century, there are still some forms of cowboy culture in large areas of North America, among which the Rodeo is one of the popular sports.
Rodeo is one of the most dangerous and exciting sports in the world. Injuries, bleeding and even disability are common. Even so, this traditional sport still attracts many young people, not only cowboys, but even girls, who seek excitement and challenge themselves. The formal traditional Rodeo has seven events: Bareback Bronc Riding; Richard bronc riding; Bull riding; Steer wrestling; Tie - down roping; Barrel racing; Pole bending; Team roping. These events are usually held outdoors, rain or shine, so when a downpour hits, the horses' backsides become more slippery, making the competition more difficult and dangerous.

The soft fog creates a dreamlike atmosphere, blurring the boundaries between water and sky, while the flamingos stand as elegant focal points within the tranquil scene. The stillness of the water enhances the reflective quality, mirroring the birds and the subtle, muted tones of winter.
The fine art approach lends itself to minimalism, with a restrained color palette dominated by cool, soft grays and blues, occasionally punctuated by the delicate pink hues of the flamingos. Mundari is an ethnic group from South Sudan. They are known for raising cattle of the ankole vatusi species, which is known for its huge horns. My project was to film the life of Mundari nomads in the camp.
With this series I wanted to shoot more intimate landscapes, far away from grand mountain scenes or wide seascapes. Tuscany is the perfect place for this, as it offers fields rolling in the distance, lone trees, and old manors atop hills. The light is often soft and ethereal there, especially at sunrise. Here's a collection of some of my favorite shots from there.

Получилась своеобразная рекурсия творческих взглядов двух человек. В одних случаях фотографии отсылают к представленным на выставке работам Татьяны, в других — к ее состояниям в различные моменты времени в процессе написания картин. Локациями нам служили различные творческие пространства и наши собственные квартиры. На части снимков изображена сама художница, но в 2 случаях - это мои фотографии других людей, которые послужили референтами к ее картинам.

This is a year-long photo project that was dedicated to preparing for an exhibition by artist Tatiana Rusakova called "States" and which eventually resulted in its own exhibition.
It turned out to be a kind of recursion of the creative views of two people. In some cases, the photographs refer to Tatiana's works presented at the exhibition, in others — to her states at various points in time during the painting process. Various creative spaces and our own apartments served as locations for us. Some of the pictures depict the artist herself, but in 2 cases they are my photographs of other people who served as references to her paintings.

For the past 12 years, I’ve been Visiting Katpana Sand Desert & photographing from past 6 years in Skardu, Pakistan. It’s one of the highest sand deserts in the world, sitting right between the stunning Karakoram Mountains. The sight of golden dunes against snowy peaks is something you have to see to believe—it’s like a dream. But every year, I come back and find more of this desert disappearing. Homes, resorts, and even a government hospital are being built, eating away at this incredible place.
I call this project The Desert Cry because it’s my way of showing both the beauty of this desert and the danger it’s in. I’ve spent years capturing its magic—the way the light changes on the dunes, the silence that feels like it’s from another world. I’ve also had to photograph the construction sites that are slowly taking over. It breaks my heart to see this happening.
Every year, I sit on these dunes and write about it on social media. I talk to people, trying to make them understand how important it is to save this place. We protect glaciers and rivers, so why not this desert? It’s just as special, just as fragile. I hope that by sharing my photos and my story, I can help people see what’s at stake. I can do more Exhibitions to raise awareness among masses specially with the higher authorities.
My dream is to see the Katpana Sand Desert recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I want the construction to stop before it’s too late. I don’t want to imagine a future where this desert is gone, replaced by buildings and roads.
This project is my way of fighting for this place. It’s my way of saying that some things are too precious to lose. Through my photos, I hope to show the world what’s at risk—and maybe, just maybe, inspire people to help save it.

The images are from the traditional Kaalapootu (Bull Surfing ) held mostly in villages in North Kerala. The race takes place during the post-harvest season in August and lasts from noon until dusk. In southern Kerala, these events are held under the name “Maramadi”. Though the events are held in water filled paddy fields after harvest, many of the Panchayaths and private individuals own specially maintained fields exclusively for this event.
Kaalapootu is a celebration of the villagers. They gather in large numbers for the event. Kaalapootu, is also a celebration of the strong bonding of human, animal and nature. It is a beautiful symphony created by the fertile mud, water, men and the bulls. In the air charged with excitement and fervor from the “arpuvilikal” ( acclamation ) ,it is the farmers dreams and longing that reverberates in the atmosphere. We witness the natural, spontaneous ushering in of a new season in the ambience of a simple, tranquil village now heady with excitement. The over powering energy and unbeatable enthusiasm of the event, symbolize the indomitable spirit of the villagers.

Shrimp boat broke down at sea and washed up on Port Aransas Beach. The boat's name is Second Chance. It has been a real struggle for them to break free of the beach and return to the sea.
Мое путешествие в Хибины. В этот день мы нагулявшись в сильный ветер по горам, решили отправится домой, так как был уже поздний вечер. Но взглянув на прогноз северного сияния, который обещал все же быть, снова отправились на фотсъёмку в горы, даже не отдохнув. Приехав на озеро Малый Вудьявр, мы обнаружили в небе яркую дугу. Это надо было видеть, как мы остервенело доставали фотоаппараты и штативы из рюкзаков и мчались к точке съемки. Ибо по прогнозам, сияние обещали не продолжительное . Но зато облачность должна была вот вот нагрянуть! А так ведь хотелось успеть поснимать это северное чудо природы! Сияло довольно ярко, дуга была довольно интересная - она простиралась с севера на юг во все небо тонкой полоской и даже яркая полная луна не смогла погасить изумрудную северную радугу.
Единственная пекарня в городе с настоящим тартином, где пекарь ежедневно печет хлеб, вкладывая все свои умения в этот процесс, превращая его в искусство. Некоммерческая съемка в течении 6 месяцев, которая показывает сколько времени, сил и души вкладывается в процесс создания хлеба, где каждое движение созвучно, выверенно, ритмично. Каждый этап приготовления рассчитан до секунды, чтобы на выходе человек, который ест хлеб, почувствовал тепло и заботу его создателя. Проект бы снят так, что бы показать все в движении.

Spectacular beauty of Hon Yen in anchovy catching season
Around July every year, fishermen on the coast of Hon Yen, Tuy An district, Phu Yen province go out to sea to "finish nets" to exploit anchovies, creating beautiful moments. Fishermen cast their fishing nets out to the sea, creating different shapes in the water, including the shapes of a circle, a heart, or a lotus leaf. As ussually, from May to August, local fishermen in Nhon Hoi hamlet flock to Hon Yen Islet to catch anchovy. Bustling scenes in harvesting season have become attractive to photo hunters.
In Ladakh, light dances over barren peaks and glacial rivers,
sculpting shadows that breathe life into the surreal terrain.
Through my lens, I capture this ephemeral symphony of light and land.

The peoples of the Omo Valley are located in a fertile valley along the river of the same name in southern Ethiopia. In this small place with only 5% of the population live the most interesting ethnic groups in Ethiopia. My project was to portray women from the Omo Valley.
A flock of seagulls fly high above the sky while a group of fishermen pull out fishing nets to harvest anchovies, considered a specialty of the central coastal region and used to produce the quintessential Vietnamese condiment – fish sauce. For many years now, Hon Yen has been attracting young travelers with its pristine beauty and carpets of coral reefs rising up during low tide. For photographers in particular, the small islet is the new land to discover.
