The path [TOP100]
It was a clear-sky afternoon by the end of February. I was there having a small kiki at a friend’s place. As I enjoyed the last moments of a setting sun, I looked outside of the window and set my eyes onto the last ray of sunlight cutting through the buildings. A man on a bicycle steps into this ray, making it look like a path. Piazza 8 Novembre, Milano
Morning At the Ganges
As the longest river in India, the Ganges has a strong presence within the Hindu religion. It is considered the backbone of activity within India. Known also as Banaras or Benares, Varanasi city stretches along the bank of the river Ganges. This place has been a prominent religious city since the sixth century BC. Hindu people believe the river to be sacred and holy. Many make the pilgrimage to the city of Varanasi to wash away their sins in the water. Being of such importance, millions of people visit the Ganges, making it a powerful hub of religious activity, culture and history. The Ganges is revered as goddess and mother. Hindus take up her water cupped in their hands and pour it back into the river as an offering to ancestors and the gods. Millions of Hindu come this river once a year to wash themselves in the river and to purify their soul. If you want to feel the real India at the Holy Ganga River you need to get up early!
Rain Painting
These shots (all in Paris), from an ensemble entitled "Rain Painting", are made WITH rain on a windshield. Rain is both a material and a photographic prism. It creates blurring effects, and a blurring of the lines, a tremor that can make you think sometimes of pictorial impressionism. The effect is always dependent on the type of rain: spat or downpour, slow pace, serene, or nervous and fierce. All these passers-by, often with a colourful umbrella, seem to create a worried choreography, a sonorous pantomime.

Playful and messy
Tyrol region. During the annual "Krampus" parade, I noticed a little, charming girl, hiding behind the legs of the crowd. She was a little scared, but at the same time she was messing with the walking masked men. Her grimaces, her ginger plaits, freckles and the perfect matching green hat, reminded me of Pippi Longstocking! I had only a few seconds to grab my camera and to take this candid street portrait. "Krampus" is a horned, anthropomorphic figure, in Alpine folklore, who during the Christmas season scares children who have misbehaved, assisting Saint Nicholas. In traditional parades, young men ,dressed as "Krampus", participate and attempt to scare the audience with their antics. Such events occur annually in most Alpine towns.

Madrid's traditional flea market
With hundreds years of history, the flea market brings together people and old goods in an unique and picturesque combination. During Covid pandemic, the market closed for months for the first time in history - It hadn't even closed during Spanish civil war in 1936-39. Hoever, the market is still fighting to get similar level of affluence.
Change the thought
At times, “women’s” and “restrictions” were moved together. Women without restriction – was pretty unthinkable specially in any conservative society. They had restriction to move, restriction to education, restriction to express opinion …….. life was full of restrictions. They were grown up with a mentality that they are not allowed to participate what their male partners can. They didn’t grow up free and the result is – they even forget that they also have equal rights to participate and can contribute equally as like any male in the society. Thank God, the situation is changing with the course of time. With the help of progressive part of the society, women are also looking back to themselves and trying to believe that they are not different from their male counterparts. Now they believe from their heart that they are equally strong if not more to participate to move the society towards a positive direction. In 2019, when I was passing time at Chittagong sea beach, I find a lady, fully covered with “Burkah and Hijab” (Islamic dresses) is walking in the sea beach with a bunch of young kids with “Islamic” dresses for which I was not ready at all as it's not a normal scene at the beach. By then my eyes were following them unconsciously and I understood that they are from any “Madrasha” (Islamic education center). When I saw they lady was taking selfies with her young students, I couldn’t stop myself clicking that moment as I took it as a sign of progressiveness. Couple of decades back when women were not even allowed for education, nowadays they can choose a teaching profession at an Islamic institute and can take their students to the sea beach for their recreation and part of education, I felt this is the way society and mentality changes.

There’s no age limits for Artists
The quest for betterment for an artist is limitless. Regardless the age, gender and whatever barriers he faces, he always tries to improve and improvise his artform. Like in the above shot the old tailor is trying his best to complete his work. He may seem weak but his determination is what makes him a perfect artist. For him the age isn't a barrier.

Women
Three women look at the other's mysterious and pain-filled gaze, and they find beauty in it. In their faces, they see the reasons to believe that everything is possible in a country that needs them. In Mexico, women's rights must be a priority. In this image, I recognize the courage and poise of the Mexican woman who makes the greatness of this country possible.
