Street Still Life Category Guidelines
Street Still Life is a genre in which a composition of inanimate objects is arranged outdoors. The frame combines natural elements, everyday items, and atmospheric details to create a unified visual story. The main criterion is a thoughtful composition where every object serves the overall concept.
Shooting must be done outdoors: on the street, in a courtyard, park, or any exterior space. The surrounding environment and natural light are an integral part of the work.
Food photography with aesthetically presented dishes is accepted; human hands are permissible if they relate to food preparation or plating. Animals are allowed only as secondary elements that complement the artistic intent.
Accepted:
- Images taken indoors or in studios, including shots near windows
- Frames featuring animals, provided they play a secondary, complementary role
Not accepted:
- Images taken indoors or in studios
- Random everyday scenes or chaotic arrangements of objects without a clear concept or deliberate composition
- Works where a person or animal is the primary subject
