Boiga flaviviridis, commonly known as the Green Cat Snake or the Mangrove Snake, is a non-venomous snake species belonging to the family Colubridae. It is particularly associated with mangrove forests, coastal areas, and lowland rainforests. They are nocturnal, actively hunting for prey during the night. Their diet mainly consists of small vertebrates, including lizards, frogs, birds, and occasionally rodents. They are excellent climbers and use their slender bodies and strong grip to navigate through branches.
