Elephants are often considered as the "God" of the forest because of they are believed to be an incarnation or representation of Lord Ganesha (In Hindu Religion). Not only that, they justify the title in a scientific way too. They make pathways in dense forest that allow passage for other animals. Their footprints can also create a micro-ecosystem which, when filled with water, can provide a shelter for tadpoles and other organisms. So, watching the Gentle Giant in the wild is such a blessing for me. Sharing one of the Tusker elephant images, which I composed at the magical habitats of Kaziranga National Park, Assam- A home for Big 5 mammals as well as an UNESCO World Heritage Site!!
