The weather in the Belianske Tatras mountains in September can be incredibly unpredictable. That particular year was no exception.
Ten days of nothing but rain, fog and strong winds. No light. No views. Nothing to photograph.
Then, one afternoon, while having a coffee on the terrace of our cabin, I looked north and noticed a few cracks opening in the clouds. Moments later, a rainbow appeared.
I immediately grabbed my drone and took off, even though it was still lightly raining.
The rainbow lasted for just seven minutes.
In those seven minutes, I managed to capture this panorama of a city of Ždiar, Slovakia.
One of my personal favorite photographs to date.
