Location : Udawatta Kele, Kandy, Sri Lanka
Device : Canon R10 + RF 100-400mm
Settings : f/8, 1/125sec, ISO 8000
The Dark-fronted Babbler is a small, active bird found mainly in the forests and scrublands of Sri Lanka and southern India. It is easily recognized by its dark forehead, warm brown upperparts, and pale underparts. Usually seen in noisy groups, it moves quickly through dense vegetation, feeding on insects and small invertebrates. Its constant chattering calls make it easier to hear than to see in the wild.
