A Minivet’s Motherly Care

That day, I was riding my motorcycle along the winding roads of Da Lat when I spotted a beautiful patch of forest. I’m not sure why, but my instinct as a woodsman told me to stop; I just felt that if I went deeper inside, I would find something special to capture.
Venturing in, I was lucky enough to come across a family of Long-tailed Minivets busy foraging. To avoid disturbing them, I quietly scrambled up a steep slope, searching for a steady spot to brace my camera. And then, the moment happened: the mother minivet began feeding her chick right before my eyes. Standing there in the middle of the old forest, watching that scene through my lens, I was deeply moved.
Nature is inherently beautiful and peaceful. My only hope is that we can all protect this green world with the most sincere love—just like the devoted care this mother bird gives to her little one.
