This project was created in 2023 as a charitable photographic series dedicated to senior and handicapped dogs from shelters — souls that are often overlooked, unwanted, or considered “unadoptable.”
Instead of portraying them through pity, I chose a different language:
beauty, dignity, softness, and light.
Each dog was styled and photographed as if they were someone precious — not to hide their age or imperfections, but to remind us that worth does not disappear with time, illness, or disability.
These animals are not broken.
They are gentle, resilient beings who still feel, trust, and hope — even after being forgotten.
Through this series, I wanted to challenge the way we look at value, usefulness, and love.
Because compassion should not depend on youth, perfection, or convenience.
They deserve to be seen.
They deserve to be loved.
