When Oxford Dictionaries announced “selfie” as their 2013 Word of the Year, they gave it this official definition: “a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smartphone or webcam and uploaded to a social media website.Mostly today people take seslfie on pub's while they are taking Vodka with shot glasses." The word “selfie” has only been in existence for about a decade.
