SECRET PAINS
Alone with tears...screaming in my ears....as my face swallows them from all the pain that I caused thru the years. She once said emotional pain is the worst... I nodded my head and remember feeling that same pain as her words. Only a few times in my life, did I feel a dosage of what she experienced and felt throughout most of hers...with closed ears and eyes, I never listened to her '...tears that echoed a pain felt for years. Selfishly blinded and vainly confided...turning away. Couldn't even look her way...death knocked on her family's door...instead of mending what was left of her poor soul...I turned away with anger for no reason at all. So I sit here alone...tears yelling at me for what have I done. Face washed away...by salt drops of pain I caused and ones I never tried to heal.
