A very old tradition of Bangladesh is boat racing. It happens in different parts of the country. 4-5 boats participate. Each boat can accommodate 50-80 rowers. Those who drive this boat are called Mallas. These boats are not like ordinary boats. It is made for competition only. The boats are very narrow and long. The mallahs drive the boat singing songs during the competition. They have different clothes. Winners are given various prizes by the organizers. They are very happy. It happens every year. Many people watch and enjoy.

– В рейтинге лучших фотографий учитывается только одна — самая сильная — работа от каждого автора. Даже если у фотографа опубликовано несколько работ, в расчёте позиции используется только одна, с наившим рейтингом. Поэтому порядок фотографий в списке может не совпадать с итоговым положением автора в рейтинге.
