The series presents two species of grebes.
The Great Crested Grebe and the Red-necked Grebe.
From courtship to raising chicks.
The photographs were taken against the light, which allowed for a beautiful palette of colours and highlights.
The photo is a record of natural structures – the patterns that had formed on the frozen lake under the influence of various weather conditions. When I noticed this amazing pattern, I decided to become a part of this image, at least for a moment. I realized that the human figure would reflect the proportions of the created patterns and would also be a visualization of my attachment and fascination with the natural world. In order to realize my idea, I dressed in a white outfit so as not to disturb the natural composition too much and started posing, while recording the different sequences with a drone. I took the photo in the Drawsko Lake District in North-Western Poland.

This series explores the profound connection between two children through a carefully choreographed visual narrative that transcends cultural boundaries. Set against a minimalist dark backdrop that draws inspiration from Renaissance portraiture, the series employs a stark contrast of black and white garments to create a powerful visual dialogue about unity within diversity.
Each image captures a moment of intimate connection—from peaceful comfort to joyful companionship to protective embrace. The delicate pleated textures of the white garment juxtaposed against the smooth black fabric creates not only visual contrast but symbolizes the beautiful complementary nature of different experiences coming together.
The series deliberately plays with composition and gesture, using hands as silent communicators of care and protection. In one portrait, eyes are closed in serene trust; in another, direct gazes invite the viewer into their shared world; in yet another, hands partially obscure vision in a playful exploration of perception and protection.
The white head wrap serves as both a cultural element and a visual anchor, while the consistent color palette and lighting technique create a timeless quality that speaks to the universal language of human connection that children instinctively understand before society imposes its divisions.
This work invites viewers to witness childhood's purest form of connection—one based not on learned differences but on innate understanding of our shared humanity.
As the drums pounded, Kelan made his entry, sweeping embers away with his foot and instantly mesmerizing the crowd. I always felt that the moment was so powerful, even before he leapt over the flames, that no photo could fully capture the intensity it left behind.
As the first light of dawn kissed the peaks of the Dolomites, Lago di Braies awakened in a mesmerizing display of colors. The stillness of the water mirrored the sky, creating a dreamlike symmetry that felt almost unreal. Capturing this moment at sunrise was a true testament to nature’s quiet majesty—where time seemed to pause, and the golden hues blended seamlessly with the crisp mountain air.
Shot at the break of day, this photograph embodies the serene beauty and untouched wilderness of one of Italy’s most iconic alpine lakes.
In this portrait, we see a little girl with delicate, light curls, dressed in a warm, fur-lined coat and a checkered dress. She sits on a windowsill by an old window, gazing at something beyond the frame. Her small hand is raised in a gesture, as if trying to touch the air or grasp something fleeting. The light streaming through the glass casts soft shadows on her face, highlighting her gentle features and thoughtful expression.
Sometimes, when looking at a child, you get the feeling that they have been in this world before. That their gaze holds a sense and understanding that even some adults may not possess. In her eyes, there is a quiet contemplation, as if she understands more than her age would suggest. Perhaps she perceives things that escape adults—the simple magic of the moment, the meaning hidden in silence, the tenderness of gestures. Her expression speaks of something words cannot quite capture—the mystery of childhood, which in one instant is innocent and fragile, and in the next seems filled with an inexplicable wisdom.
To moment, w którym czas przestaje płynąć, a ona – jak echo natury – trwa w pełnej harmonii, będąc jednocześnie snem i rzeczywistością.
Spontanious portrait of my auntie which one describe her very well. She can be funny but she was touched by life pretty hard and now she is very tired but still have this happiness, kindness inside her.
Capturing the majestic elegance of seagulls in timeless monochrome. ?⚪ This serene moment on the water reminds us to slow down and appreciate the simple beauty all around.
This second work in the series explores the purity of form and the delicate balance of our inner state. The clean lines and harmonious composition reflect a sense of calm and clarity, inviting the viewer to find equilibrium within simplicity.
– The rating of photographers by countries and cities is based on the three best photos of the author and their relative position in each separate nomination. Rating in the nomination "Mobile Photography" is taken into account to a lesser extent for rating formation. The list by country and city shows one photo of the author with the best rating.
– Only those photos have been published in the list that passed the second stage of voting.
– Only one strongest photo from each author is counted in the Best Photos ranking. Even if a photographer has several published works, only the highest-rated one is used to calculate their ranking position. As a result, the order of photos in the list may not match the author's final ranking position.
