A series of silhouettes of a stag at dawn and dusk.
This series was created over a period of two years.
The silhouettes of the stag, without showing all the information, are the result of the search for the ultimate expression of the natural world.
A mesmerizing display of light and structure, where towering steel frames and glowing pipelines create an intricate urban tapestry. The rhythmic plumes of steam and the cool night sky enhance the futuristic allure of the industrial landscape.
Once vibrant, these trees now stand as silent ghosts beneath the water’s surface. A reminder of nature’s ever-changing fate, where life fades, yet beauty endures.
The sheer presence of the whale shark as it glides effortlessly through the water is breathtaking. Witnessing its massive form move with such grace feels almost surreal, as if time itself slows down in its wake.
In a building called "International Forum" in Tokyo, Japan. I aimed for the moment when the light only comes in at 2:00 PM in the cold winter months of February. By including people, you can see how big the tower is.
A captivating composition where sweeping curves and intricate steel structures converge in perfect harmony. The interplay of light and shadow accentuates the depth, leading the viewer into a futuristic yet timeless space.
This is the stairs that lead to the exit of the Leeum Museum. There is a mirror on the top and the front that reflects the half ring into a full ring. The girls on the other side are a reflection of them who are in silhouette. I respect the original yellow color as that\\\'s a part of the art I believe.
I used Lightroom to develop the image. Lower the texture, the clarity, and the dehaze settings to make the image more blurred and let yellow reach the front. Try to darken the front mirror more so that I can navigate the viewer\\\'s eye to the silhouette.
Early in the autumn morning in Nara Park, I photographed a male deer and his fawn frolicking in the soft morning glow. The love of the deer gently emerges in the silhouette created by the light and shadow created by nature. We hope you can feel the warmth and silence of this moment.
This starry sky photo was taken with a Google Pixel 6 Pro.
This photo was taken at Matabei Sakura in Nara Prefecture, Japan. The Milky Way and cherry blossoms in full bloom can only be photographed for a limited number of days, making this a very precious moment.
This cherry tree, said to be 300 years old, is a proud Japanese sight that we want to preserve for future generations.
This photograph represents the traditional Japanese culture and the beauty of nature, the stillness and movement that the Japanese spirit has cherished.
I took this photograph at a Japanese shrine on a full moon night. The full moon and the torii gate of the shrine represent perfection, the waves shot with a long second exposure represent movement, and the bird standing on the torii gate represents stillness.
Tokyo’s Shimbashi is one of the city’s most vibrant entertainment districts.
This photograph captures the solitude of a man walking alone through Shimbashi after work, expressed through his silhouette.
The profile, in which you can also see what they are aiming for.We can only imagine what it is.However, it is possible to leave a photograph as a starting point for imagination. The viewer\'s imagination and thoughts are then added to it.This is a harmony not only between myself, the photographer, and the viewers, but also between the animals in the photograph, and I believe that this is an event with unlimited possibilities. The environment and current feelings of the viewers, the environment and feelings of the animals in the photograph, and my intention in taking the photograph.I believe that these multiple elements will intertwine to create something. What will you create?
I photographed penguins swimming freely in the sea.I was impressed by the penguin's powerful, cool, and propulsive eyes, which were different from the impression I had of him on land.I was encouraged by his gaze as he swam straight into the underwater darkness.I hope that the same mindset will give you courage as you face the challenges of today's difficult society.
Two kingfishers engage in an acrobatic mid-air battle, showcasing their agility and vibrant plumage. A fleeting moment of nature’s drama, frozen in time.
This photo reimagines a blue city wall. The white objects appear to fall, adding motion to the geometric stillness. It highlights the ability of mobile photography to find art in everyday scenes, blending reality with illusion.
Shirakimine Kogen Plateau is a plateau in Isahaya city in the central part of Nagasaki Prefecture. The Cherry blossoms and the flowers are very beautiful in spring, and the autumn leaves and the cosmos are pleasing to the eye.
This photograph symbolically captures the universal theme of “freedom” by portraying the moment a seagull takes flight. The fence in the background, adorned with bird-like designs, hints at the ambiguous boundary between reality and symbolism, emphasizing that the bird’s flight is not merely an action but a representation of “liberation” and “new beginnings.” The monochrome tones imbue the image with a timeless stillness and a poetic atmosphere.
The photoshoot took place on the famous slope leading to the very famous Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto. The kiss after her amazing swordplay was a wonderful expression of \\\"stillness and movement.\\\"It was like watching a movie.
This photo was taken in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. In Kagoshima Prefecture, there is a volcano called Sakurajima. This volcano has been active and erupting repeatedly since prehistoric times, and the people of this land have coexisted with it. I took this photo at the only place where such a beautiful Sakurajima and starry sky can be observed. At this location, I photographed together an observatory where one can observe the starry sky and a starry arch that wraps around Sakurajima, the symbol of Kagoshima Prefecture.
The extraordinary in the everyday of the metropolis Yokohama.
Since its opening as a gateway to the world, Yokohama, a major city in Japan, has developed as a hub for international trade. It is also the birthplace of many aspects of contemporary culture. I have attempted to capture the sense of the extraordinary hidden within the everyday life of Yokohama in my work.
– The rating of photographers by countries and cities is based on the three best photos of the author and their relative position in each separate nomination. Rating in the nomination "Mobile Photography" is taken into account to a lesser extent for rating formation. The list by country and city shows one photo of the author with the best rating.
– Only those photos have been published in the list that passed the second stage of voting.
– Only one strongest photo from each author is counted in the Best Photos ranking. Even if a photographer has several published works, only the highest-rated one is used to calculate their ranking position. As a result, the order of photos in the list may not match the author's final ranking position.
