The misfortune of some brings happiness to others. The saying is cruel, but it\\\'s true, for these polar bears, the death of a whale often heralds a royal feast. And it\\\'s an understatement to say that news travels fast on the ice. Attracted by the appetizing smell, about thirty bears out of the roughly 68 recorded in the area rushed to the scene without quarreling or resorting to claws to claim their share. A behavior that is almost benevolent, with no aggression, possibly linked to the abundance of food, was seen for the first time in East Greenland.

With this series I wanted to shoot more intimate landscapes, far away from grand mountain scenes or wide seascapes. Tuscany is the perfect place for this, as it offers fields rolling in the distance, lone trees, and old manors atop hills. The light is often soft and ethereal there, especially at sunrise. Here's a collection of some of my favorite shots from there.

White rabbits are always late, it\'s well known. If there is one area where they have a head start it is reproduction. After the great global upheaval there was only one pair of white rabbits left on the ark. Stranded not far from Luxembourg, they found refuge in a former casino where they bet on repopulating the earth. I found them having fun in the big shows, determined to multiply their winnings.

October 11, 2023. Swiss Alps. I've had this photo in mind for years: the Matterhorn, the Milky Way and their respective reflections. To do so, after passing Zermatt and climbing up to the Riffelsee, I unfold my sleeping bag for a few hours to warm me up, waiting for our galaxy to align with the mountain. Around midnight, I fell the time is right to start photographing. I'm alone in the dark, the night is very cold. After two unforgettable hours of shooting, the excitement of having achieved my goal and the bitter cold make it impossible to sleep.
