Filmed in Glowworm Caves in northern New Zealand, it requires entering a maze of ancient limestone and peculiar stone formations. Here, I encountered the spectacular Glowworm like a sea of stars.
The dance in my dream. Couldn\'t believe that the swan just started shaking its feathers in front of me, with the massive Mt Fuji as the backdrop. What a dreamy scene.
As evening approaches and night falls,
The sea surface in the twilight is like a mirror.
Behind the sea, the bright lights gradually turn on.
Here, everything is silent and sleeps in the darkness of the night.
It is understood that this filming location is now covered by a factory, and the camera can no longer get this close for filming.
I used a drone to take photos at the high-speed railway station at night accompanied by railway police. The speeding high-speed railway was like a silver bullet, leaving a beautiful trace on the ground.

Kecak dancers rush towards the flames without fear
Kecak Dance is a sacrificial dance in the Hindu temples of Bali, Indonesia. The story is taken from the Ramayana, and it is said to be a confrontation between justice and evil. The whole performance has no instrumental accompaniment, only the rhythmic "cha-cha-cha" sound made by the male performer, and the dancers use flexible and exaggerated facial expressions and rich body language to present a visual feast. The dancers use body language to tell ancient legends and praise the great power of God. During the performance, a group of young people sit around a torch, shaking their bodies and making religious calls. When the dancers face the raging fire, although their eyes are pressed tightly because of fear, they still rush to the fire without hesitation for the sake of faith. The rich body language of the dancers and the spectacular scene of rushing to the raging fire and kicking the burning fire away with sparks flying make the whole dance look particularly magical.
I've been documenting on and off the interesting brooms left throughout different places in China for the past 7 years. So far these are my favorites. Each one of them in her own unique setting.
From above, the old city of Harbin reveals a striking geometric pattern, its snow-dusted rooftops forming a mesmerizing urban maze. Against the backdrop of soaring skyscrapers and the meandering river, this structured layout tells a story of history and modern transformation. The soft winter haze adds an ethereal touch, blending past and present into a seamless, breathtaking composition.
I took this photo in the Badain Jaran Desert, Inner Mongolia, China. I found a dune with a nice shape to serve as the foreground. At that moment, a comet had already appeared above the dune, and I captured this scene. In this instant, it felt as if it was the doomsday scenario of a comet crashing into the Earth.
This is a photo taken in Chongqing. I went down to the riverside to explore the location, using the flowing water and rocks in the foreground and Chongqing\\\'s iconic Raffles City as the background to take this photo.
How can one capture the essence of Chinese New Year? Without firecrackers, where would that festive spirit reside? Amidst the crackling explosions of "Zha Laoye"* in Jiantian Village, I felt transported back to childhood, rediscovering the most primal and authentic experience of "Nian"**—that primordial New Year magic.
Puzhe Fiery Dragon Ceremony - Hakka Pyro-Rituals of Fengshun
Description:
In the misty highlands of Fengshun County, Meizhou City, the Hakka people preserve a trilogy of fire sorcery recognized as China's Second Batch National Intangible Cultural Heritage. The Puzhe Fire Dragon Ritual - a trinity spectacle comprising Flaming Arbor (烧烟架), Dragon Gate Ignition (烧禹门), and Celestial Dragon Combustion (烧火龙) - writes cosmic prayers with fire on the velvet canvas of Lingnan nights.
Act I: Flaming Arbor
Bamboo pyramids erupt into fractal fireflowers, their 13-layer scaffolding cascading silver-peach blossoms that mirror the Milky Way. This "smoke架" ritual cleanses the ceremonial ground with geometric fire.
Act II: Dragon's Gate
A 12-meter fiery arch materializes, its flaming lintel challenging leaping carp to transmute into dragons. Each successful passage through this burning threshold symbolizes Hakka diaspora's historic triumphs over the Nanling Mountains.
Finale: Dragon Ascension
72-jointed phoenix-dragon hybrid born from glutinous rice paper and burning resin dances through explosive constellations. 300 bearers' straw sandals etch primordial glyphs in glowing ash, their choreography preserving Qing Dynasty Kangxi Era military formations.
For three centuries, this pyro-trilogy has encoded Hakka cosmology: Arbor fires communicate with star deities, gate flames test mortal resolve, and the dragon's final combustion rebirths the community's spiritual DNA. These images capture the precise millisecond when human breath synchronizes with burning bamboo's crackling rhythm - a chromatic dialogue between ancestral memory and contemporary lens.
In the mist-wrapped winterscape of Chongqing, where clouds merge with urban contours in dreamlike ambiguity, the colossal piers of Hongyancun Jialing River Bridge loom like a monolithic portal transcending time and space. Behind this architectural leviathan, intertwined mist and shifting light weave an ever-changing tapestry of enigma—a liminal threshold where reality dissolves into quantum possibilities, inviting contemplation of dimensions where concrete brutalism converges with ephemeral stardust.
Under the night sky, raging flames rise and roll like a giant fire curtain, with a blazing light piercing through the darkness. A figure dressed in red and wearing a bamboo hat stood resolutely in front of the sea of fire, holding a long pole. The confrontation between humans and fire is like a confrontation of power, and also like an ancient and mysterious dialogue, bursting out with stunning visual impact and artistic tension that shakes the soul.

After the storm, the clouds were ignited by the setting sun. A magical sea of flame-like clouds dyed the skyline crimson, as the summer sunset and the city lights merged into each other, like a living canvas in motion.
Every Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival), Puzhai villagers hold a fire dragon performance to pray for good weather, good harvests, peace and auspiciousness. When the fire dragon dances, sparks radiate and the scene is spectacular, attracting tens of thousands of people from the surrounding area to come and watch. This grand occasion has been passed down from generation to generation almost every year.
Captured at King Peak, Gangdise Range, this aerial perspective documents glacial upstream features through drone photography, contrasting with common mid-stream serac formations. The composition highlights azure crevasses merging with the peak\\\'s geological architecture.
This photo was taken in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou, China, which is the largest gathering place of Miao people in China. The Miao girl passing by in the picture perfectly blends with the ancient building behind, while the faint green mountains and flowing water make the picture even more full. Coupled with the morning mist, the painting adds a mysterious and magical color, resembling being in a secluded and ancient dream city.
Dance in the sun
I woke up at 4am just to capture this sunrise. The sun\'s position calculated one month in advance was very accurate, and the weather was also great, which led to this artwork. When the sun rises from behind the model as promised, this scene in the same frame, with a 600mm ultra long focus, is really beautiful!

I carefully captured a series of uniquely charming landscape photos. In the images, the close-range scenes and distant views are intertwined, presenting rich and distinct layers, which showcase the grandeur and delicacy of the natural scenery in my eyes.
As night descends, Macau unfolds a breathtaking spectacle. The towering Macau Tower stands as a sentinel of modernity, its sleek silhouette reaching towards the star - kissed sky. Fireworks burst in a riot of colors above it, like celestial blossoms unfurling in the inky expanse.
The illuminated bridges, with their arches and lights, mirror gracefully on the shimmering water below. The cityscape, a tapestry of twinkling lights from countless windows, tells tales of a vibrant metropolis. This is Macau at night - a harmonious blend of human ingenuity and natural beauty, a place where dreams seem to take flight amidst the glow of the city and the magic of the fireworks.

This image shows a high-speed train winding through a scenic landscape filled with blooming trees. The train is traveling along a curved railway track that cuts through a forest of pink blossoms, likely cherry or peach trees. The background features a beautiful mix of pink and purple hues, suggesting that it is spring or early blooming season. The train itself is a sleek, modern design with a white and light-colored exterior, adding a contrast to the vibrant natural surroundings. The perspective of the photo is from above, offering a clear view of the train's movement along the track.
An elder's gentle act of kindness ripples through time, and I seize the moment in front of Duomo di Milano... reminding us all, It is more blessed to give than to receive
Holding coffee in his hand and watching the incomprehensible news is like wearing a box and sitting on top of an absurd grass platform. Maybe when we take the box, we are still children, just pretending to be adults.
This photo was shot in a Sport Climbing Competition, I saw a Athlete climbed under a spotlight and it was a good moment for the “light and shadow “ in a Sport Competition which is very attractive to me.
Chengdu is a city in western China, which has experienced rapid development since the 20th century, resulting in many social changes, followed by the acceleration of the pace of urban life, one of the effects of which is that the holiday break time is short and fragmented, and people tend to prefer to spend time in the city, enjoying the pleasure of life in limited time and space. In this project, I chose to take a step back and observe the people in various spaces and scenes during the holiday in detail, showing the positive attitude of the people in Chengdu who love life through the video, and revealing their efforts in the process of pursuing a better spiritual life.
– The rating of photographers by countries and cities is based on the three best photos of the author and their relative position in each separate nomination. Rating in the nomination "Mobile Photography" is taken into account to a lesser extent for rating formation. The list by country and city shows one photo of the author with the best rating.
– Only those photos have been published in the list that passed the second stage of voting.
– Only one strongest photo from each author is counted in the Best Photos ranking. Even if a photographer has several published works, only the highest-rated one is used to calculate their ranking position. As a result, the order of photos in the list may not match the author's final ranking position.
