As in 2021, when I first visited Mundari, this year, Mundari children are still working from a very early age. They and adults don\\\'t know when they were born or how old they are. In appearance, the youngest workers are between 6-8 years old. A number of them were born in other cattle camps, away from their parents, and it is thought that they may have been sold or given away for breeding. \\\"BREEDING\\\" is figurative because they have to work to be able to get food. The cubs\\\' job is to get up at 05.00 every morning, clean up after the cows and goats, milk them, send them off in the morning and welcome them in the evening.
Kukeri is an old Bulgarian tradition, still celebrated today. It is an ancient ritual performed around New Year’s and during the carnival season. The participants, known as Kukeri, donning elaborately crafted masks and costumes made from fur, feathers, and other materials. Traditionally kukeri were only men, nowadays participate also women and even children. The purpose of wearing costumes and masks and performing special dances is to chase away evil spirits, bring good luck, and ensure a bountiful harvest for the upcoming year.
In a striking black and white photograph, two pelicans stand facing each other, mirroring one another with almost perfect symmetry. Their long, curved beaks and elegant necks create a harmonious balance, as if they are twins engaged in silent conversation. The monochrome tones emphasize the texture of their feathers, the sharp contrast between light and shadow accentuating every detail. Their eyes, focused and intense, seem to hold a quiet understanding, while the negative space around them enhances the intimacy of their shared moment. The composition is both simple and profound, capturing the grace and quiet connection between these majestic birds.

Timetravel - Omoide Yokocho, nestled in Shinjuku, Tokyo, is a nostalgic time capsule transporting visitors to post-war Japan. This narrow alleyway, lined with tiny yakitori bars and traditional eateries, offers a retro journey back to the 1940s and 1950s. With its vintage lanterns, smoky grills, and intimate settings, Omoide Yokocho captures the essence of old Tokyo, providing a charming and authentic culinary adventure through time.
In a world that often overlooks people who don\'t fit its expectations, there are stories waiting to be heard, hidden beneath layers of misunderstanding and solitude. I recently met someone whose life was shaped by compulsive hoarding, who has faced rejection due to lacking formal education and numeracy skills. Yet, he is someone full of untold stories, resilience, and an innate spark for connection. Through this portrait, I hope to highlight the humanity and depth in individuals who struggle quietly. Each of us has the power to look beyond the surface, to listen without judgment, and to offer understanding and support to those who are often forgotten.

– The rating of photographers by countries and cities is based on the three best photos of the author and their relative position in each separate nomination. Rating in the nomination "Mobile Photography" is taken into account to a lesser extent for rating formation. The list by country and city shows one photo of the author with the best rating.
– Only those photos have been published in the list that passed the second stage of voting.
– Only one strongest photo from each author is counted in the Best Photos ranking. Even if a photographer has several published works, only the highest-rated one is used to calculate their ranking position. As a result, the order of photos in the list may not match the author's final ranking position.
