Devotion is a photographic journey through the diverse expressions of faith and spirituality around the world. From the sunlit arches of Morocco's Hassan II Mosque to the tattooed face of an elderly Iraqi woman, devoted to both faith and heritage. The time-honored artistry of a Romanian monastery and the solemn nuns leading midnight mass in Fátima, Portugal. Through to the intimate moments of prayer and community woven into India's vibrant celebrations, including Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. Devotion offers a glimpse into the deep spiritual connections that transcend borders and beliefs.
We bathe, we pray, we believe.
We are different—yet we are the same.

The surfer seemed annoyed when I raised my camera to eye level, alerting him just before I took the photo. He turned his head away as I captured the moment. I was walking along the shore when he crossed my path. Normally, I would take a photo from the hip, but since I was using a fast lens wide open at 75mm, I had to rely on the viewfinder for precise focus. With manual exposure and manual focus set, I took two frames in a span of about 10–15 seconds.
P.S. Taken from near Burleigh Heads. The image is mirror reversed.
Step into a captivating scene where nature's own dancers perform a passionate tango under the open skies. This series of photos captures kangaroos in the midst of a passionate tango, seemingly engaged in a graceful dance of affection and joy. Each frame presents these majestic creatures in dynamic poses that evoke the elegance of a well-rehearsed performance, while their interactions hint at a tender, almost romantic connection. From joyful moves to gentle nuzzles, the images offer a delightful narrative of kangaroo courtship and camaraderie, blending the wild beauty of the Australian landscape with the charm of a whimsical dance. Witness the captivating artistry of the animal kingdom as these kangaroos "dance" and "kiss," creating a heartwarming celebration of nature's own dance of life.
Capturing a rare sighting of the magnificent red-whiskered bulbul ?? These stunning birds are known for their distinctive red cheeks and beautiful melodic songs. Feeling grateful to witness such natural beauty in our world.
Title: Sand and Fire, Australia Outback 2024
Description: Kangaroos hop gracefully in the distance, set against an orange incandescent sunset. Each leap raises a cloud of dust that, illuminated by the intense light, resembles bursts of fire. The warm, golden glow of the setting sun creates a breathtaking spectacle of nature’s beauty in the Australian outback.
The view from a poor apartment window directly contrasts with one of Ho Chi Minh City's iconic buildings, a symbol of wealth, Bitexco financial tower . The rusty fence separating them becomes a potent metaphor. It signifies the immense difficulty for those in the lower class to climb the social ladder and reach the seemingly unattainable heights of the wealthy.
Black and white imagery from the stunning sand dunes along Western Australia\'s Turquoise Coast. Each of the images in my series are a mixture of close-ups and wide angles, but each collection in the series highlights the incredible beauty of the dunes, whether that be in their shapes, lines, textures, tones or just simplicity.
I really love this image, a minimalistic tight close-in capture, with some incredible textures of two dunes separated by the striking white edge of the closer dune.
Kamuro - In ancient Japan, Kamuro (禿) were children, usually seven to fifteen years of age, who served as attendants for courtesans and Tayūs.
In today\'s world, the Kamuro live at home with their families and attend schools just as other children do. They only come over to the Tayū to attend lessons for cultural activities and when they have work to do. They come to Tayū through referrals from friends and relatives, neighbours and customers.
– The rating of photographers by countries and cities is based on the three best photos of the author and their relative position in each separate nomination. Rating in the nomination "Mobile Photography" is taken into account to a lesser extent for rating formation. The list by country and city shows one photo of the author with the best rating.
– Only those photos have been published in the list that passed the second stage of voting.
– Only one strongest photo from each author is counted in the Best Photos ranking. Even if a photographer has several published works, only the highest-rated one is used to calculate their ranking position. As a result, the order of photos in the list may not match the author's final ranking position.
