When the air temperature rises above 30 °C, as the sweat glids of the water buffaloes are 10% less than that of the cattle, they cannot assign enough body temperature through sweat. This causes their metabolism to deteriorate. To prevent this negativeness and cool down, they need to enter the water several times a day. As they return from the area where they graze all day, they cool off by entering the water channels around a few times. They need to go through a final pond to clean up and cool off again before returning home.
