The Girl On The Tram
Whilst I was in Lisbon last year, I wanted to get a picture of people travelling on the trams. Despite taking photos of passing trams at any given opportunity throughout my stay, none of them particularly inspired me - so I decided to dedicate my final morning to getting the shot that I wanted. I spent nearly two and a half hours standing on the same street corner photographing the passing trams - it was only through sheer blind luck that I was standing in the right place at the right time, when this particular tram came along and the girl in the window stared directly at me as I was taking the photo. I knew then that I had my shot.
