We invite you to capture the breathtaking beauty and uniqueness of the underwater world, conveying the emotions and thrill of diving, the complexity of ecosystems, and unique perspectives. Underwater photography is not only about capturing stunning images, but also an opportunity to deepen our understanding of marine life and their habitats. Exploring the underwater world involves a range of techniques and methods. Divers can use specialized equipment to extend their time underwater or practice freediving — diving without breathing apparatus, which requires specialized training and physical endurance to hold one's breath. All photographs should be taken in a natural environment, without the use of aquariums or oceanariums.

Viewers' votes are accepted during the submission period and for several days after completion.

Prize

Increase the limit to the load for the main contest 35AWARDS. Extensive coverage of the winner photos, as well as 10 of the best photos of the competition.

photo should be no copyright marks, add borders, etc.

Not accepted:

Similar images (similar combination of objects, cropping, different shooting angle, or change of photo tone)
Artificial color changes in graphic editors
Collages and composite images

* A photo that has won in other 35AWARDS contests cannot enter the best photos of this contest. Only one photo of the author can enter the number of the best photos of this competition.
** Images that do not match can be removed from the competition.

This is Express Contest, launched in test mode. This is a thematic photo contest with slight modifications, where we are trying out a new voting system. Despite these innovations, the essence of the contest remains the same—to share your best photos on a given theme and be inspired by the works of others.

During the contest, we will closely monitor participant activity and feedback. We may make adjustments to make the contest even more interesting and engaging for everyone. Please be aware that some errors or issues may arise during the process. We are promptly addressing them and strive to quickly implement any necessary changes.
