Red + Yellow Photo Contest: Guidelines and Submission Rules
We invite photographers to take part in the contest "Red + Yellow"!
Red — the color of passion, fire, and life's pulse. Yellow — the color of sunlight, joy, and boundless energy. Together they ignite a flame: a sunset over golden wheat fields, maple leaves blazing in morning light, the glow of a campfire on gathered faces, the vibrant dance of peppers and tomatoes at a sunlit market. This is a union of intensity and warmth, courage and optimism, the fleeting and the eternal.
We are looking for frames where red and yellow do not merely coexist, but converse — through the contrast of embers and sand, the harmony of autumn foliage, the metaphor of ripened harvest, or the emotion of celebration. Let your photographs breathe warmth, pulse with vitality, and remind us that even in the simplest moment, a spark of beauty awaits.
Accepted:
- Photographs in which red and yellow "interact" — creating harmony, contrast, mood, metaphor, nostalgia, or a fresh perspective on the familiar.
- All genres are welcome: street photography, portrait, still life, abstraction, landscape, documentary, and more.
Not accepted:
- Images in which the specified colors were not present in the original scene and were added or drastically intensified solely through digital editing: Photoshop, AI tools, filters, selective color grading, etc.
- Photographs containing only one of the colors will not be accepted — both red and yellow must be present in the image.
