Magical Dandelion : This is a flower called Dandelion. Its scientific name is Taraxacum, a large genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae. Taraxacum are native to Eurasia and have been widely introduced to North and South America and other continents.. They have small flowers collected together into a composite flower head. Each unit of the flower is called floret. Many Taraxacum species produce seeds asexually by apomixis, where the seeds are produced without pollination. This results in offspring that are genetically identical to the parent plant. Dandelion is the only flower representing three celestial bodies during different phases of its life cycle – sun, moon, stars. The yellow flower of the plant resembles the sun, the dispersing seeds of the plant resemble stars, and the puff ball of dandelion plant resembles the moon. Each unit of floret is very light in weight and can travel many miles with winds.
Here I wish to create a magical illusion with background. I used in-camera multiple exposure / double exposure technique to create this magical background. I have taken my first shot with Tamron 90 mm VC USD lens + Godox flash diffuser. Then I changed the lens to Helios 58mm F2 44M-4 lens keeping camera on and taken the second shot. To achieve the barrel like background bokeh I reversed the front glass of the Helios lens before attaching it. I used various white balance(eg. tungsten, kelvin color preset). Then camera merged all them into one giving RAW NEF file. That\'s why it gives this barrel like eye-catching bokeh effect in the background.
