How do we say goodbye to our pets? I have been taking photos since 2015, and I have never faced a situation like this. A friend of my wife contacted me to take a picture of her dog that was going to die. Once I arrived at the place where I was going to take the photos. I was really impressed with the reaction of her daughters. I did not understand how two such little girls could understand the meaning of death. They have lived her entire life with this dog, and had her since she was 7 weeks old. Due to her advanced age, they had to put her down, so that she would not continue suffering. For me, it was so exciting to be able to capture this special moment. The parting of a dog so loved in her family. During the photo session it was incredible to hear how her daughters mentioned what photos they wanted, the type of frame in which they would put the photo and on which wall of the house the photo would be. For me it was beyond my understanding and I wondered how these girls instead of crying smiled with happiness. They understood and remembered all the years of happiness that this little dog gave them. The dog passed away that day at the age of fifteen.
