My love for photography was born along with my love for the mountains. I got my first camera when I learned climbing. In 2003 when I was a student of Moscow State Building University I explored the Elbrus region with a group, and then climbed Elbrus itself. I was so inspired by nature that the desire to capture every moment of my life took possession of me. I experimented with photography every free minute of my life.
In 2011 I entered the British School of Design in Moscow, took course of Contemporary Art and through experiments with negatives, I started make graphic artworks as well. I began to shoot very fragmentarily in search of lines and abstract natural surfaces. And also print images on different materials - from Soviet wallpaper to Nuri algae, depending on the idea. I used blue printing, silk printing and other techniques.
With the birth of my daughter in 2019, I returned to photography as a self-sufficient artistic process. But that experience in making graphic artworks influenced on me very much. I am looking for lines and simple shapes and at the same time for the moments when I feel myself as a part of nature. Just clear lines and breath of Earh - that is what I would like to see from my window instead of infinite walls.
