For me as an artist, exploitation of nature materials is a kind of meditation as well as passion of imagination where the dominating power is rather than mathematical calculations is emotions and feelings. For me creative process itself is the most important, exploration of the world - of micro- and macrocosm.
I devote my creative career to take pictures where I explore contemporary approach to fractalism in arts. In my photos I use stochastic fractalism – objects that are very similar to non-symmetrical objects that exist in nature. These models created by nature came to me in the form of crow excrement graphics on the streets of Riga, Liepaja, London, Shanghai, Zurich, Wiesbaden, and Berlin. Around six in the morning the urban poetry salutes me with white abstractions – crow graffiti on pavements and streets. Through the use of digital image modification, crow droppings become cosmological systems. Unintentional structures have their own algorithms, repetition, and fractals. These would include my “friends” – drawings of crows on asphalt. A structure of fractals also represents a chaotic process and they can be found completely and absolutely anywhere. Like manifestations of nature, fractals can also appear in their diversity and brilliance, revealing their particular beauty.
