When the monsoons had taken a break, and the sun was out, I was expecting a vibrant sunset but to my dismay, the colors never occurred. So i tried to narrow down my vision and began looking for small and intimate details. Suddenly I found two compositions next to each other, but finalized on this one. What fascinated me is the small stone which was washed ashore by the water. It was identical to a shape to that of a human heart, and the receding flow of water had created patterns as that of arteries and veins which slowly merged in the sand. With the square format, I tend to find compositions easier, as the boxed restriction simplifies the subject within the frame. That way I avoid distracting elements within the frame. Nature has its way of drawing it's own art, and I was fortunate to have captured this extremely rare scene.
