It only takes a few gestures to plunge us every morning into our personal daily routine, into our hurry, our rush, our becoming.
In our thoughts, in projects, in tomorrow, in the future.
Under the masks we wear and the roles we play, day after day we soon become "the one" that everyone knows. And we get confused among the many others, to live what we are in the world: one, no one, one hundred thousand.
But before we get into this routine, where are we? Before we put on our clothes, what are we? Before play as fathers, mothers, children...? Before losing ourselves in everything we need to do, to say, to think?
The moment in which everything is still suspended, the moment in which "we are" and "we are not".
Photography is a search for the essential and takes us on an intriguing and philosophical journey into the most authentic intimacy of our lives as people.
A moving humanity, where delicacy and discretion are the thread that holds everything together, towards an impalpable interiority.
I took every shot outside, in the street, in museums, in everyday life...in every place where anyone can get lost and be "everything and nothing" without any mask.
