I took this photo behind our house during light rain, i saw this dragonfly alighted on this barbed wire concrete fence, i got near enough to get this macro shot, i took several shots, and settled for this one, i looking at this has evoke emotions in me the, i felt fascination and amasement enveloped in a disheartening aftertaste, seeing the intricate details of the wings really proves there really is a great divine designer. Seeing the contrasting elements; the organic and the non organic. The dragonfly against the metallic barb wire and the huge concrete fence, i saw how small the dragonfly in comparisson to the structure it alighted on.
Realizing this gave a feeling beyond words, accompanied by the realisation that they have become somewhat outcasts from their own home. With the advent of technology and the so called necessities engined by an ever growing expansion and the constant growing of desires of income generating industrialization, depletes the habitat of other creatures. Leaving them with lesser room to inhabit.
We have invaded their territories. Thus forcing them to station on man made structures of metal, iron, cement and plastic. The sad reality that is now happening that most of humanity, i think, does not see, or rather blinded by misleading advertising and marketing manipulated by agencies, entities and powers whose only goal is to gain by in face value or rather in aesthetics.
