The look of the felines has always fascinated me are intense and have eyes adapted to their nature. The tree would not let me see him well, but when we looked at each other I saw that he had something in his eyes, it was a wound in the cornea and a big scar around the eye, the color of his iris had changed and had a dark spot, which meant that his wound was deep and he probably does not see through that eye or only partially see.

This moment for me was very special medically speaking because it is a very typical lesion in felines, but I had never seen it so close in a lion, and he let me observe him correctly, and his expressiveness gave me a lot of tenderness
