From Akureyri onwards, I drove to visit Laufás turf houses in Eyjafjörður. These set of 5 turf houses are very beautiful and I while I was shooting them, I saw this beautiful cloud formation exactly on the opposite side (behind where I was standing) and the sight was unbelievable (the rainbow is yet to appear). I had to change my set-up and turned the camera to this direction and started taking some long exposures. And there, slowly and gradually a rainbow appeared! It was like icing on a cake! The clouds were moving fast and I knew that the rainbow could vanish at any moment now. It hardly lasted for a minute and I was fortunate enough to capture it. I would have completely missed it had I decided to capture those houses first and not the clouds. To me, this image gave me the satisfaction of capturing "Pure Landscape" beauty of Iceland.
