Cienfuegos is the southernmost pearl on the shores of the Caribbean. It was founded by French immigrants in 1819, once flourishing smuggling and knowing pirates, and now it is a major seaport, a center for trade in sugar, tobacco, and coffee. The city, which is very different from other cities of Cuba, is unusually strong French, colonial veil. The historic center is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While a group of our tourists stood at the monument in the central park square and attentively (or not very attentively) listened to the cheerful Cuban guide who told about the famous poet, publicist and revolutionary Jose Marti, I ran a camera (even with two) in the mouth charming city, looked at the local life and looked for curious shots. In the shade of the ancient trees on the bench, a wrinkled uncle sat modestly in a green cap. I wanted to take a photo of him, asked permission, but he did not refuse, sorry I did not ask for the mailing address ... It would be great if he received his photos.
