This little frog belongs to the Centrolenidae family, Hyalinobatrachium dianae, also known as the glass frog, a species endemic to Costa Rica. Its name comes from the fact that many of these frogs have such transparent skin on their bellies that their internal organs, such as the heart, liver, and digestive system, are visible. I took the photograph in my garden. San José, Costa Rica.
