This series of mirror self-portraits explores the duality of my role as both observer and creator. By placing myself in the frame, I document not only the act of photographing, but also my identity as a photographer.
The presence of the model behind me introduces a second layer — a subject who becomes, in a way, a symbol of achievement, control, and desire. The image blurs the line between documentation and self-reflection, raising questions about authorship, ego, and the subtle power dynamics between photographer and model.
Through these compositions, I aim to capture the tension between vulnerability and authority, where the photographer is no longer invisible, but becomes part of the story.
