The rufous-backed dwarf kingfisher (Ceyx rufidorsa) is a small bird in the kingfisher family Alcedinidae that is found in parts of Maritime Southeast Asia.

It\'s fascinating to look at the hunting and feeding habits of the Kingfisher. These birds are some of the most efficient hunters in the wild, using very specific techniques to secure a meal.

- A Kingfisher usually sits motionlessly on a branch or perch overhanging the water.
- Once they lock onto a target, they dive at high speeds.
- This is the most unique part. After catching a fish or shrimp, the Kingfisher returns to its perch.
