This frame was made in a blink, but it holds layers of a city.
On a busy Kolkata street, life kept moving in parallel lines—cars rushing past, reflections sliding over glass, and two women walking in quiet sync behind a shopfront. I waited for the moment when all those layers would align: the speeding car becoming a natural frame, the window turning into a mirror, and the bright green wheel inside the shop anchoring the scene like a silent witness. What looks like a simple street photograph is really a story of rhythms—of movement and stillness, of private lives unfolding in public space, of a city where every second carries multiple realities.
This photograph is about seeing through the chaos—finding order in reflections, finding stories in transit, and freezing that one fraction of a second where everything briefly makes sense. In a city that never pauses, this image is my way of pressing “hold.”
