Sea parrots are mainly distributed in the North Atlantic, coastal areas of northern Norway, as well as the Westermana Islands of Iceland and the Faroe Islands. They mainly inhabit the open sea and only come to shore during the breeding season. They mainly feed on marine fish and enjoy eating fish of the genera Gyarados, Clupeia, and Willow Leaf Fish. Nests are often built in cliffs, crevices, and caves along coastal islands.
