"Daljina" in Serbian means distance, but in a more profound and melancholic sense. Could be in a literal manner, a land far away, anything physical that is far from touch or eyesight, but can also be a feeling of distance from what we have or don't have.
This photo I took in beautiful Bosnia and Hercegovina on my way to Mostar. This country, as mine too (Serbia), is marked by bloody times, wars, hate, pain... and truly, those sayings do make your perspective of this country obscure. But you find yourself in this fairy tale of a land, of green that makes that red (blood) vanish and reminds you of what is the base of humanity - nature, beauty of life and a key to it. This car in my eyes was going to a new understanding and vision of countries marked by heavy history, as I was. Getting rid of pettiness and discomfort and finding original beauty of human life that we got so distant from.
