It was worth getting up at 5am. I\'m glad I didn\'t skip my morning session. When the alarm clock rang, I snuggled under the blanket and wondered whether it was worth getting up. Will I be able to catch birds at all, let alone get my dream shot?
Beata Kaziowa and I set out for the pond at 6 a.m. The half-cut moon was shining quite brightly, and despite the 7.5 degrees, the air was crisp. A milky fog stretched over the field. Deer were grazing in the distance and birds were playing a wonderful concert. We sat on the bank of the pond and drank coffee, waiting for the sun to emerge from behind the trees and illuminate the water.
After an hour, a flock of swans appeared. They were quite far away and, resigned, I started planning to return home. Suddenly I heard their wings flapping, I quickly took my camera and we have effect :)
