Arjundhara is the name of a temple that is situated in south-eastern part of Nepal. It is situated in Jhapa district, Province No. 1 in Nepal
Arjundhara is a well-known pilgrimage destination honoring Lord Arjun and is regarded as the Pashupatinath of eastern Nepal. The location is of great historical significance because it is thought that Arjun, one of the Panch Pandavas, used to come here to graze his cows. One day, when there was no water nearby and he was thirsty, he mounted his bow and arrow and shot the ground. As a result, water emerged from the ground, and he drank from it. Many think that the same water source still supplies the pond with water. In 2065 BC, the Arjundhara temple, which is large enough, was built in a lovely pagoda-style.
