These pictures are very precious to me. The reason is because the behavior of this little child takes me back to my own childhood. I believe you can feel the same way.
The child’s smiling face, her charming eyes and gaze, her wet hair and the small droplets of water scattered all over her face and body give her not only an undeniable liveliness but also a natural innocence. The subtle smile on her lips, the way she sticks out her tongue portrays her playful and happy nature. In addition, her eyes add a striking charm that captivates the observer.
In today’s Sri Lanka, the emergence of such free-spirited and happy little children has become increasingly rare. This is due to the very competitive and selfish education system in the country. Children leave home early in the morning for preschool or school and only return home at night, as they now have to attend extra classes after school. In short, the current education system in Sri Lanka places an unbearable burden not only on young children but also on university students. As a result, children are becoming more robotic, and in the process, they are losing their childhood. Their interaction with nature has decreased, and even their relationships with friends have weakened, which causes them to experience stress from an early age. I believe that the global community should pay attention to the education system in Sri Lanka. Education should not be a hindrance to children’s freedom. A balanced system will help raise well-behaved and selfless individuals.
Finally, as I mentioned at the beginning, this child’s innocent emotions, playful nature, happy behavior, and facial expressions certainly bring back fond childhood memories, not only for me, but perhaps for you too.

– В списке опубликованы только работы которые прошли 2-й этап голосования.
– В рейтинге лучших фотографий учитывается только одна — самая сильная — работа от каждого автора. Даже если у фотографа опубликовано несколько работ, в расчёте позиции используется только одна, с наивысшим рейтингом. Поэтому порядок фотографий в списке может не совпадать с итоговым положением автора в рейтинге.
