Go with the glow
The nature of man has led him to delimit his territory, establish physical and symbolic separations of space. But current reality tends towards integration, the liberation of borders and the understanding and joint work between countries.
Chile and Argentina share the third longest border in the world, which stretches for 5,302 kilometers over the Andes Mountains. The main road to connect both countries, corresponds to a magnificent engineering work, the Juncal slope, also called "the snails slope" in the Chilean side, as the tracing of this road describes 29 very close and followed curves, making driving extremely slow for vehicles that look like "snails", which are mainly trading trucks.
Reaching the 17th curve, I decided to make a vertical panorama of 2 photos and also bracketing with a 10 minutes exposure photo to catch the whole life of that sight "mountains, night sky and trucks in the curves".The nature of man has led him to delimit his territory, establish physical and symbolic separations of space. During February 2021, made a trip to this place, and reaching the 17th curve, after several minutes of being stand just staring at the whole view, I decided to make a vertical panorama of 2 photos and also bracketing with a 10 minutes exposure photo to catch the whole life of that sight "mountains, night sky and trucks in the curves".
