CHOCHA
This series was born from the daily sharing in pandemic with my paternal grandmother. After living 2 years in a residence, we received her and my children at home.
I can contemplate a bond of mutual love, expressed in experiences, forms and freedom. Her magic is still leaving luminous, wise, subtle and deep sparkles.
And although the fear of death is present in this relationship of subtle beauty, accompanying a dignified old age, cared for and in family are the objectives.
Silent death accompanies us and we do not know when it may come.
Silence recharges energies. Talks move away from each other. Everything slows down. A challenge for both.
Old age and pandemic. Old age and family. Old age and healthy living. Old age and dignified life.
In many cases they seem antagonistic.
Old age and love is the only thing that saves.
