About
A metropolis is a space where the past organically intertwines with the present: majestic historical monuments coexist with ultra-modern skyscrapers, and noisy crowds on the central streets give way to the tranquility of cozy courtyards. In the city, noise and silence, movement and peace coexist, intertwining into a single dynamic of life. The “Contrasts of the Metropolis” competition invites participants to convey these contradictions through photographs. Your photographs can show how tradition and modernity collide in one place, how different rhythms of city life create a unique atmosphere, revealing deep layers of urban reality.
